Welcome to the HIS Library
The library is on the 3rd floor of the Sapporo building and another is located in our Niseko campus. Both are open to all HIS students, staff, parents as well as 'Friends of the Library'. The Sapporo library holds about 13,000 titles.

Library Rules
The library is open to HIS students, parents, faculty, staff and 'Friends of the Library'. Patrons may borrow up to three items at a time. Books are checked out for one week periods to Mile Post students and two weeks for secondary students. Replacement costs for lost or badly damaged items are fixed. ¥4,000 for a hardback book and ¥2,000 for a paperback book and other items.
Volunteering in the Library
Our volunteers are invaluable, they help the school run an effective library service. Would you like to help? The drop in on any morning from Monday through Friday and speak to one of our volunteers.

Friends of the Library
If you would like to borrow from our Library it is possible - even if you do not have a student at the school! Speak to library staff or one of our Library volunteers to get set up. There is an initial fee of ¥3,000 to sign up.
