Husky News Niseko

Niseko Town Library

Dear Teachers, Staff, Parents, of HIS Niseko,

Peaceful greetings to you from our school. We hope you are enjoying the warmer weather. Have a wonderful weekend.

Best Learning We Have Seen:

Three cheers to our Japanese language learners. This week, the students were hard at work learning their Kanji characters. It was a joy to watch them proudly partake their Kanji assessment. We are sure they are quite pleased with their results.

Thank you, Ms. Maho and Ms. Anita for your dedicated work.

March Virtue of the Month: Responsibility

“You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end, each of us must work for his own improvement and, at the same time, share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful.”

April 12 is a School Day and Golden Week Update

We are hearing that here may be some confusion. Just a note that April 12 is a regular school day for both HIS campuses.

There is no school for students on May 3,4,5 during Golden Week.

Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Asobook- the Niseko Town Library

Niseko Town has a lovely public library. This building is our second favorite building in all of Niseko. ;)

Asobook, the local library, just recently created a section specifically dedicated to foreign-language books. Borrowing books is free, provided you set up an account. Asobook is located across the street from the Niseko Town Hall. You can check out more here: Asobook Facebook
