Going Global in MP3

This week MP3 students continued their transdisciplinary "Going Global" unit by learning about the benefits and disadvantages of locally grown produce. They read an article, watched a video about food miles, and discussed how buying local affects the environment and our community. Students talked about transportation, freshness, cost, and supporting local farmers. They finished the week by creating and presenting campaigns to raise awareness about local food choices.
