Learning to Read in our MP1 Classroom

Students in MP1 are making great progress with learning to read. Our teachers are utilizing the MultiLit curriculum, which is grounded by current reading research. This week Kindergarten is increasing their knowledge of trick words by adding the, they and that to their vocabulary. The pace of the Kindergarten curriculum is increasing as students move closer to completing the alphabet. Grade 1 learnt how to read and write the or sound using or and ore.
