Hokkaido International School Niseko
Thank you HIS Niseko teachers and staff and our ski instructors from NASS. Thursday and Friday were stormy, yet lovely days for skiing.
We are very impressed by the student growth from earlier in the season. We are especially indebted to the patience our ski instructors showed in helping our skiers down the mountain. Your diligence, kindness, and gentleness were duly noted. We will soon share the photos for the two days.
Ms. Anita Churiki has been working with students this month to experience the art of Calligraphy in Japanese class. Students practiced letters at their level and then chose a word that connected with winter that they liked.
Middle School Students and MP3 students spent a morning with the young children living at the Iwanai Children’s Home. HIS Niseko students are nurturing friendship and community through service, one of the HIS Pillars.
