The Best Learning We Have Seen:9/6

Three cheers to the MP1 students. We were very impressed with your understanding of the functions among different lobes of the human brain. “Prefrontal cortex” is a handful for a second grader to comprehend and is a joy to see students learn about learning.
Have a great year!

State of Emergency Update
The COVID-19 Delta variant is prevalent throughout Japan, with record-high case numbers leading to strained hospital capacity and medical infrastructure in many areas. States of emergency and quasi-states of emergency are now in effect for more than half of Japan’s prefectures.
Please be prudent during these next few weeks and stay safe.

Parent Orientation THANK YOU
We would like to thank the teachers of HIS Niseko for an impressive Parent Orientation. The presentations were held via zoom this past Wednesday night and from all appearances, it was quite a successful event.
Thank you parents for taking the time to welcome the teachers into your homes.. Our teachers are our school’s most valuable resource. Throughout the year, please feel free to contact any of the teachers with questions, concerns, or praise. We would love to hear from you.
