Kaiya's FlashFiction Darkness Bends

Everyone goes through challenges. Everyone faces hardships in life. At some point, you will want to give up. But even in the darkest of times, there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Kaiya's Poetry Emulation: Darkness Bends

Do you feel the darkness devouring your mind?

Feelings you struggle with as the world passes by

Fact is, you think its easier to hide then to let it out and cry

As you think back to better times of when the sun used to shine

The lightness in the world as you bear your burden…

The soft unspoken cries

The longing for warm feelings, the envelope of a warm embrace

Scents of rain gently falling down to cleanse your pain

You’ve gone through so much don’t throw it all away

Even through the broken times,

The fragmented minds,

All just whispers in the dark

Crying out as each word leaves a mark

You should know each path has bends

No, this is not the end

Based on...

run to the valleys,

climb the mountain that will kill your suffering breath.

Remember when life was good in your youth?

Before your bones began to fail with all the abuse.

Time has halted;

your muscles have revolted.

The mind shuts down while your memories defaulted.

You, my friend, are at an end –

for the rainbow you see is only pretend.
