HIS has seen a dramatic rise in College Board Advanced Placement program participation (and success!) in recent years. See some of our exciting AP statistics and data below:

Number of Students:
2018-19: 21 students AP taking AP exams
2021-22: 48 students AP enrollments

Exam Registrations:
2018-19:  37 AP exams taken
2021:  117 AP exam registrations

Percentage of students receiving 3 or above:
2017-18:  69% of tests taken were 3 or above
2020-21: 90% of tests 3 or above

As well, please join us in congratulating some of our current senior students who received AP Scholar Awards from the College Board based on their exemplary academic accomplishments last year in 11th grade: 

AP Scholar with Honors
Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

AP Scholar with Distinction
Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

Join us for a Heartfulness Workshop December 4th with Stephen Murphy-Shigematsu. Mr. Murphy-Shigematsu is a psychologist and author in mental health, wellbeing, and diversity. He has been teaching and researching at Stanford University for 20 years as a faculty of the School of Medicine. You can learn more about Stephen Murphy-Shigematsu through his TED talks.
