The Hiragishi Exchange Club had our first meeting this week. The students did a pumpkin carving activity for the halloween! Hiragishi High School students joined us on Zoom and the students introduced themselves. We hope to meet in person next month! Please checkout the pumpkins at the genkan!

This year, the Sapporo campus of Hokkaido International School restarted its Summer Program for students. Over the course of four weeks, students explored different topics connected to Hokkaido: the history, landforms, waterways, and finally Hokkaido’s abundant wildlife.
Hokkaido International School presents...our first annual literacy celebration. Honor 16 defenders of reading and 18 creative short story writers.
On May 30, 2023, the elementary Huskies displayed their rediscovery of morals through the literary medium of fables in skits, presented in the second to last elementary assembly of the school year.
On June 15th, 2023, Hokkaido International School opened its doors to the community to celebrate the graduation of 17 Huskies. Students, Teachers, Parents, Alumni, and even former Classmates celebrated the next steps of the Class of 2023.
