MAP Testing This Month

This week, students in grades 4 to 10 have been taking MAP tests to measure their proficiency in reading, English language usage and mathematics.
Students will take these tests again in the spring time to measure their year long (and year on year) growth.
These tests are extremely valuable to teachers as they provide detailed information about their student’s areas of strength and areas of needed focus.
Parents will receive a MAP report in June along with academic report cards.
Please feel free to contact me (principal@his.ac.jp) if you have any questions. As well, you can check out the NWEA MAP website for information
