Hello, Husky nation! As the new Athletic Director at HIS (replacing the legendary Rod Kelly), I wanted to introduce myself to our fans and athletes. As a member of the Coaching Association of Canada, I understand the value that athletics and sportspersonship contribute to our society. I am a firm believer that everyone can participate and contribute in their own way, and that the relationships formed through sport are often the most meaningful and long-lasting ones. The start of our 2021/22 Huskies Athletics season is temporarily on hold due to the current state of emergency in Sapporo (and elsewhere in Japan); however, we are already planning for a safe return to sport once the proper officials deem it safe to do so. I look forward to meeting you all at various sporting events in our community this year. Go Huskies!
