High School Art: Murals

After many years hanging in the computer lab, the paintings and collages are finally getting updated. As part of their “street art” unit, high school students are creating new “murals” to hang in the lab. Each student developed a draft mural then collaborated with their group to design a large scale painting. The students wanted designs that were more relevant to their interests, and more representative of HIS and Hokkaido. The completed designs showcase Hokkaido’s natural beauty, the buzz of downtown Sapporo, Husky athletics and the style and personality of HIS students.
