IMYC Social Studies/ Causes of World War Two
As part of their inquiry into the causes of World War II, our middle school students delved into pivotal events and circumstances that shaped the global conflict. Through research and presentations, they explored the Spanish Civil War as a testing ground for fascist aggression, the instability of the Weimar Republic as a catalyst for the rise of extremism, and England's policy of appeasement in response to Hitler's early provocations. This project not only deepened their understanding of history but also encouraged critical thinking about how past events continue to shape our world today.
