Where Did You Come From Before HIS?

I am from Pennsylvania in the U.S. right outside Philadelphia.

What Subjects Do You Teach?

I teach reading, writing, 4th grade math, and IPC.

What Was Your Last Job?

My last job was as a 5th-grade elementary teacher, where I did language arts, science and social studies.

What's Your Opinion About HIS?

It’s awesome, it’s a lot cooler of a vibe here than the last school I was at. Everything is very relaxed, and very fun, a lot of really nice outdoor stuff which is very different from where I came from.

Is There A Reason You Came To Hokkaido?

I wanted to explore the world. I was teaching in Pennsylvania for 10 years and decided that it was time to travel the world a little more and explore other options.

How Is Working At HIS So Far?

I love being here; the school is awesome, the kids are great, and the teachers are cool.

How Do You Spend Your Free Time?

So far, it's exploring Hokkaido and Sapporo in general. I like to travel a lot, but if I'm not travelling, then I like to read or make little videos on my phone sometimes or take pictures.
