HIS Goes 3-D!

The art and design department has entered the world of 3-D printing with the recent purchase of a Creality CR-10 V2 printer. This will allow students to use various software such as Sketch-UP and Tinkercad to design three-dimensional objects and make them come to life. The printer has a build space capacity of 300x300x400 and can print in a variety of materials such as PLA, TPU (flexible plastic), Wood, Copper, Rubber, and more. The printer will open up a whole new range of projects for the students along with developing their technical skillset.
